Who the Low EMF Home Design & Construction course is for - and whyÂ
-
Home designers and builders.
Whether you’re just starting to explore healthier building practices or already have experience, this course is the first in a six part series that provides actionable insights and a clear framework to address one of the biggest blind spots in healthy home movement: electromagnetic fields (EMFs). -
Healthy Building Materials Mastermind alumni.
If you've already taken steps to improve condensation management and understand the health impacts of building materials, this course is your next opportunity to elevate your building practices and expand your expertise.
By addressing the unseen and often overlooked impact of EMFs, starting with the most prolific of the six types of EMF, radiofrequency radiation, you'll position yourself to deliver even healthier home builds for your clients—filling a critical gap in the healthier building movement.

Zara D'Cotta
Founder, The Healthy Home
Building Biology New Build Consultant (BBNC)
Electromagnetic Radiation Specialist (in-training)
After undergoing 30 doses of radiation during cancer treatment, Zara developed electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), drastically changing how she experienced her home environment.
This personal turning point led to nearly a decade of research, and a deep commitment to helping others create homes that truly support health.
Zara was the first Building Biology New Build Consultant in Australia (and is one of less than 20 globally) in 2022. In 2023 and 2024, Zara completed two advanced EMF training intensives in the U.S. with world-leading experts — including electricians and electrical engineers — gaining cutting-edge, science-backed knowledge with real-world application.
She works with Australia’s most forward-thinking, award-winning designers and builders to help reduce EMF exposure and other environmental risks in homes.

Full course series
The Radiofrequency Radiation module is the first in a six-part series designed to help you master Low EMF Home Design & Construction. Each module focuses on a different type of electromagnetic field (EMF), with its own unique characteristics, assessment tools, and mitigation strategies.
This course is built to give you a clear, practical foundation — one step at a time.
Overview of the full course series:
-
RF Radiation (available now)
-
AC electric fields (launching in 2025)
-
AC magnetic fields (launching in 2025)
-
DC electric fields (launching by 2026)
-
DC magnetic fields (in development)
-
Dirty electricity (launching by 2026)
Each part consists of four comprehensive modules with the remaining parts to be launched in 2025-26. Early access to future modules will be offered to RF students before public release.
By the end of the series, you’ll have a comprehensive understanding of how to design and build low-EMF homes, protect health, and differentiate your projects.
Move beyond traditional standards -
design for long term health
Traditional electrical standards focus on preventing immediate dangers like shock, fire, and injury, but they overlook the long-term health effects of electromagnetic fields.
As home designers and builders, you have the opportunity to go beyond traditional standards and lead the way in creating healthier, safer homes

Imagine a future where every home is designed as a sanctuary for the body to rest and repair.
Reducing radiofrequency radiation exposure is an opportunity for industry leaders to create homes that truly prioritise health.
By the end of this course, you'll understand how to design and build low EMF homes, reduce health risks for occupants, and differentiate your projects in the market.
Â
Â
🎯 This is a focused cohort —
designed for a select group of designers and builders committed to pushing the industry forward.
You’ll gain access to live support, a real-world framework, and a chance to be at the forefront of the healthy home movement.

TIMING & CALL STRUCTURE
When and how it runs
This is the only live cohort of the Radiofrequency Radiation module we’ll be running in 2025.
Kickoff call:Â Thursday 26 June (9am AEST)Â
Live implementation calls:
📅  Held monthly on a Thursday (9am AEST/4pm PDT on Wednesday US time) in the last week's of June, July, August and September.Â
Replays will be available, but live attendance is encouraged for Q&A and tailored support, and required to meet the full Low EMF Home Design & Construction Course certificate of completion requirements.Â
Think of EMFs as invisible pollutants
Just like air and water pollution. With the right knowledge and tools, we can create safer environments.
Start with RF Radiation — one of the most pervasive EMFs affecting modern homes —and learn actionable steps to address it: from measurement, to pre-design, design and construction.Â
